Obituary of Scott Alan Betterley

Scott Alan Betterley was born July 11, 1974 in New Richmond, WI. He died November 13, 2023 in Tucson, AZ of leukemia with his mother and friends by his side.

While growing up, Scott attended schools in Wisconsin and Arizona. He completed his AA degree in Texas and worked as an inpector in the aerospace industry. His job moved him to various locations and he lived in New York, Texas, California, and Arizona.

Scott was passionate about motorcycles and was most comfortable on the back of a bike or in a boat on the water. He was a craftsman, creating and refurbishing projects, and could usually be found working in the garage in his free time. He loved life, travel, trying new things, and the friends he made over the years. He recently shared that the most meaningful part of his life has been his son, Alex. Scott lived on his own terms. He is survived by his son, his mother, friends, and family.
